At St.Martin in the Fields Cantor Heller, March 25, 2022September 21, 2023 As guests for the interfaith first ‘Faithful Voices’ concert on 24 March St Martin-in-the-Fields. sponsored by the Zemel Choir, the Belsize Square Synagogue Professional Choir together with St. Martin’s own Chamber Choir, the West London Choir, the Zemel Choir with their soloist Cantor Robert Brody; Divyanand Caird (Saraswati Veena) and Prathap Ramachandra (Mridangam), the latter ones brought back reminiscences of “Oregon”, and I even could spend time doing some meditation during their performance in this one of my favourite venues to listen to great artists. Finally, I got to sing with it’s organ, and the famous Psalm 121 with sitar, mridangam and more than 100 choristers, here a little sample of what will always stay as a memorable evening.
